In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate entry, validation, and investigation of claim data, ensuring compliance with policies and detecting potential fraud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry:
- Enter personal, provider, invoice, and procedure details into the system.
- Validation:
- Validate information entered by the indexer and ensure correct pre-authorization of claims.
- Duplicate Claims Identification:
- Identify and manage duplicate claims, ensuring accurate processing and compliance.
- Policy Investigation:
- Interpret and investigate policy-related messages to ensure proper claim adjudication.
- Referral Process:
- Refer cases to specific departments such as HCS, TMT, and Triage after adjudication.
- Fraud Detection:
- Investigate claims for overcharges, contract compliance, and potential fraud.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the calling team to handle alerts related to both members and providers.
Requirements
Education:
- Any Graduate (non-technical degrees preferred)
Experience:
- Freshers are eligible to apply.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare and medical terminologies is a plus.
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for ensuring accurate claim processing.
- Investigation Skills: Ability to investigate and interpret claims for compliance and fraud.
- Communication: Excellent comprehension and communication skills.
